![]() Eventually, I was able to log in on a normal boot and turn off automatic updates and then on another restart, download and install the 3345 driver (during which Windows Update automatically update the driver to the 3379 and then my screen went blank, AGAIN. I tried uninstalling the 3379 driver which enabled me to do a normal boot-up only to have Only a Safe Mode boot (which don't get me started about finding out how to do that on Windows 8.1) would allow me to actually see anything. I couldn't actually see anything whenĪttempting a normal boot. I wasted over 4 hours trying to fix the issue of a blank screen. I ended up having to turn on and off my computer at least 50 times after trying to update to the 3379 driver. Intel's most recent driver on their website is 10.Īnd this is what should be used currently. Intel HD 4000 driver that is pushed out through Windows Update. I have just had the absolute worst experience of my life with this 10. ![]()
